Jeremy’s background in construction spans more than 25 years, giving him the hands-on knowledge needed to understand every detail of a property. When the opportunity arose to purchase Nighthawk Inspections from a retiring Air Force veteran who had moved across the country, Jeremy and Heather saw a chance to build something of their own. They redesigned the logo   Heather’s creative work  and set out to make the company a reflection of their values. “We wanted to distinguish ourselves,” Jeremy shared. “My wife designed the logo, and we get so many compliments on it. This is our brand, and it means a lot that people connect with it.”

Since purchasing the business two and a half years ago, Nighthawk Inspections has grown rapidly, fueled almost entirely by word-of-mouth referrals. “We did very little marketing at first,” Jeremy said. “It was just grind, grind, grind.” Within the first year, they had more work than they could handle and hired their first full-time inspector at the 11-month mark. Today, the team includes three full-time inspectors, with plans to hire more to meet demand.

One of their proudest moments was sponsoring an under-10 Little League team that traveled to Tennessee and won the tournament championship. “We just said yes,” Jeremy said. “They went out there, played their hearts out, and brought home the trophy. It’s amazing to be part of that joy.”

For three consecutive years, Nighthawk Inspections has sponsored the “Top Women in Real Estate” event  a celebration of leadership, mentorship, and empowerment. Although Jeremy jokes that he doesn’t fit the theme, he proudly credits his wife Heather as the “prettier face and the brains behind the operation.” The event’s focus on uplifting women in real estate and entrepreneurship resonates deeply with the Hearns. “My wife left her day job to join the business full-time, and my daughter is starting her own journey,” Jeremy said. “It’s inspiring to see women building their futures with confidence.”
